1 Being heard, seen, and understood.
2 Describe a memory that makes you feel joy.
2 Moving to NYC at 20 and realizing how much I felt made for this city. That I wasn't just making it all up in my head, and there is a place that could feel like home to me.
3 What does a family heirloom mean to you?
3 My family doesn’t have any physical heirlooms that I am aware of. I like to think that prayers, desires, and dreams are passed down from past family members until they are fulfilled. I attribute so much of who I am, where I am, and what I do to my mother and father and their mothers and fathers.
4 Is there anything you currently collect and why?
4 Vintage designer sunglasses from eBay. So much cheaper and you won’t find anyone who has the same ones!
5 Describe an art form or medium that piques your interest and why.
5 Right now, I am intrigued by painting. I am not very good at it, and as a (healing) perfectionist, it is challenging to keep creating even if I don’t like how it’s turning out. I am working on redefining in my mind what 'good' is. If I enjoy doing it, then, by all means, it is good!
